Vaulting Lessons

Horses, dancing, gymnastics, and fun: if you love even one of these four things, then WE WANT YOU to join our equestrian vaulting team! Vaulting began as a sport in the USA over 35 years ago and it has grown to become one of the nation's most exciting and creative sports.

Vaulting combines dance and gymnastics atop a moving horse and it's a wonderful way to develop coordination, balance, strength, and creativity while working in harmony with the horse.

Dreamswept Farm has its very own equestrian vaulting team: The Mountain Wind. We offer on-site lessons right at the farm, as well as lessons two days a week at our vaulting club's home base in Newport, WA.

If you're considering vaulting and you'd like to know more about it, we encourage you to visit this FAQ from the American Vaulting Association.

Boarding Contract Terms

Please Note: The contract terms below are not representative of the entire boarding contract. If you are a prospective client and wish to review our entire contract before scheduling a tour of our facility, please contact our business manager to request an emailed copy of boarding paperwork.

  1. Payment is due on the first day of every month. A grace period extending through the third day of every month is given for late payments. Payments received after the three-day grace period will be assessed a late fee of $20 on the fourth day of the month and will continue to accrue at a rate of $5/day until full payment (inclusive of accruing late fees) is received.
  2. A 60-day termination notice is required to terminate a boarding contract.
  3. A 30-day notice is required for clients who wish to make changes to a boarding contract.
  4. Dreamswept Farm requires all horses boarding at our facility to have general health maintenance done at appropriate/recommended intervals. The Premium Boarding Package provides much of this required health maintenance. Clients who select the Basic or Standard Boarding packages will be responsible for securing farrier services for their horse(s) no less than every eight weeks, worming twice yearly, and all equine vaccines required at Washington boarding facilities in compliance with their respective vaccine schedules.
  5. Dreamswept Farm reserves the right to arrange and subsequently bill the horse owner for care for boarders that are more than 30 days behind schedule for health maintenance, including, but not limited to: farrier services, worming, dental care and vaccines.
  6. Current documentation for worming, vaccines, and Coggins testing must be on file for all horses boarding at our facility.
  7. Horses boarding at Dreamswept Farm will be required to have a veterinary exam and any necessary dental care once yearly. Clients can arrange this through a veterinarian of your choice or through Echo Ridge Veterinary, Dreamswept Farm's veterinarian, as part of a yearly routine farm call, which will reduce the client's cost for the veterinary visit.
