A Working Farm with Rustic Charm

Our farm is nestled in a beautiful, wooded valley overlooking the great Columbia River. This land was formerly an old homestead that was established during the 1800s, and remnants of this nearly 200-year-old homestead, such as apple trees and an old cabin, remain to this day! We are inside a cozy little nook of about 180 acres that is engulfed inside the Colville National Forest.

Our farm is multi-faceted and family operated. We proudly produce dairy, eggs, meat, and vegetables organically, guided by the principles of The Honorable Harvest, a set of practices used almost universally by the Native American Indian tribes.

Equestrian Facilities

Dreamswept originally began as a horse ranch, so even though the property has been expanded into a fully functioning farm, our facilities and property were developed with horses as the central focus.

The entirety of the farm property is fenced which allows the horses to enjoy dozens of acers of pasture. We boast three riding arenas, including an indoor arena for days when the weather is less than optimal, and an outdoor arena that is about the same size as a football field and is perfect for training for jumping, barrel racing and more!

We have a dozen horses of our own at Dreamswept Farm, but our beautiful and spacious barn has space for up to a dozen boarders and we almost always have vacancy available. If you are looking for a great place to board you horse, we invite you to contact us for more information-we are always happy to talk with horse owners who are looking for a boarding facility where they can trust their horses are receiving excellent care.

Experience Life on the Farm

Farm vacations are well-known in many places around the world, EXCEPT: in the USA!

While most Americans are quite familiar with the standard Farmer’s Market and the like, the Farm Stay or Farm Experience is a new concept. Let us take a moment of your time to explain…

While the well-known Farmer’s Market does bring freshly picked food to city dwellers, the Farm Stay or Farm Experience invites city or town folks to STAY: overnight, for a weekend, or perhaps, even longer so they can truly experience the lifestyle of the farmer and what it’s really like to live and work on a farm.

This is the essence of what we offer here at Dreamswept. We invite folks to come as guests and leave as friends as they are given the chance to experience the rustic setting of a mountain farm that takes the term “country” to a whole new level. We give you fresh food, fresh air, fresh experiences, and a totally fresh landscape by giving the term FARMING a personal face and, most importantly, a STORY.

The Honorable Harvest

The Honorable Harvest is not a list of rules, but a set of practices-a constellation of teachings. While it may seem to some like nothing more than a “quaint prescription” for going berry picking, we hope you will come to understand that these teachings can be very strong tools with which to conceptualize and enact our reciprocal relationship with the earth.

Experience Life on the Farm

Nearby there are many hiking and horseback riding trails, spots for mountain biking, ATV trails, and several mountain lakes, rivers, and streams that either directly adjoin our farm or are a short distance away of six miles or less.
